ch. 3 / ch. 4 the boy who wanted to help

Ch. 3
Jack is such a bad person he should just swim away and never come back. He is so obsessed with trying to kill a pig. I think that it is hard to catch a pig with a lot of tendrils around. They all think that I am just a worthless fatty that can’t do anything. They don’t want me to help build or hunt or even help with the fire. The only thing I am good for is my specs to make the fire start. It’s like I am inscrutable. I just want to show them that I can actually do something really great to help. And now all the huts are falling down and I have a great idea to help them stay up, but know they just don’t care. Every time I try to tell them an idea they all say “shut up.” When I start talking to one of them it sounds like a susurration. Ralph and Jack are having a lot of vicissitudes between who should be doing what but Ralph is the true person who is in charge. The littluns are so rapt with getting something to eat they can’t reach it. They have Simon getting the fruit for them. The littluns have started to get diarrhea from eating so much fruit.
Ch. 4
I think that Jack is now beginning to be belligerence towards the really young kids and their ideas about the very bad beastie. Now that all the others boys are staying out in the sun they are getting very swarthiness because they are past being burnt. Some of the boys used malevolently when they started to kick some younger boys sand castles over. They also started to throw rocks at the littluns but they managed to purposely not hit them. I think that it was gross when Jack and the other boys came back with gouts of blood all over them. When Jack started to taunt me he became very blatant when he just went on and on.
